Pair of Restored 1930's-1950's Art Deco/MCM, White Porcelain Sconces by J.I. Paulding

These art deco, white porcelain sconces were manufactured by J.I. Paulding in New Bedford, Mass. during the 1930's to early 1950's.  They are in very good condition and are ready to hang on your wall.

We have carefully cleaned each of the sconces and removed the old wall paint from the sides.  We disassembled the pull switches and cleaned, polished, and lubed the parts. We replaced the original nickel plated pull chains with new ones in order to brighten them up. The original porcelain pull chain knobs were missing when we got the fixtures, so we added new plastic ones. The sale includes the mounting hardware (nickel plated nuts, threaded nipples, crossbars).  Everything has been tested and is guaranteed to work correctly.

The two prong, polarized outlets at the base of each fixture have also been rewired.  However, since these are not the modern 3-wire grounded outlets, the buyer and his/her electrician should discuss whether to hook them up.

Dimensions:  6-1/4" high where it meets the wall (7-1/2" to end of chain), 3-7/8" wide, project 3-1/2" from the wall.  They use standard base bulbs (not included).

Shipping is buyer's choice of USPS Ground Advantage, UPS or FedEx Ground, or USPS Priority Mail.

The sconces are guaranteed to be as described and we will accept their return if buyer is dissatisfied.  Just notify us within 30 days of receiving them.

We have a matching pair of sconces in this listing and in several other listings, as well as other sconces and lots of other porcelain fixtures for sale, so please check out our lighting store!
