Item condition is described as UsedThis item has been used before being donated to the charity. The buyer should expect the item to show signs of wear consistent with previous use. There is wear to the surface of the chair, e.g. scuffing/rubbing which has removed the varnish, marking (including some paint), some old chips/scuffs/splits. There is a split to the edge of the seat between the 2 stiles, a small crack to the round circular stretcher between the legs, and some splits to the top of one ear. The label on the base is still mostly intact.

Delivery

We are happy for you to use your own courier for collection and delivery. Local delivery may be available for a fee - please contact us for further details.

We are unable to accept responsibility for any damage or loss that may occur in transit if a courier is arranged. Some couriers may offer additional insurance against damage, so please look in to this with your chosen courier before booking. You are accepting the terms and conditions stated, and are completely responsible for your item the moment it is handed to the courier. Any compensation for damage or loss should be claimed for via the courier only.

What does the Dougie Mac do?

Dougie Mac provides all hospice services free of charge to over 3,500 children, young adults and adults with life-limiting illnesses each year in Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire, also offering support and care to their families and carers. We help adults living with cancer and none-cancer life limiting illnesses such as advanced heart failure, Dementia, motor neurone disease and incurable lung diseases. We provide specialist care and support services for children with life-shortening conditions, due to illness or injury, from birth until they no longer need us.
