These saddlebag heat shields are made from super thick heavy duty, super soft leather with a natural heavy grain. The leather is 3/16" to 1/4" thick. The leather is soft and stretchy and will not scratch your motorcycle. The closure is the old-style twist closure (turn buckle) used on the old windshield bags of the past. These are able to hold quite a lot for their size because of the soft stretch value of the leather. Hold your cell phone ,smokes, toll money, gloves, ID, glasses etc. for convenient access !!!!
