Faith Ringgold (1930 - 2024)

Professor of art at the University of California and has been awarded 10 honorary Doctor of Fine Arts degrees.  She has received more than 50 honors, among them: The National Endowment for the Arts Award; The New York Foundation for Arts Award; The American Association of University Women.  Her work is included in many private and public collections exhibited in: The Guggenheim Museum; The Metropolitan Museum of Art: the Studio Museum in Harlem and numerous more.
