There are no labels identifying the fabric contact. The outer shell feels like wool. I took a small piece from the inside seam to do a burn test. It did catch fire briefly, the fibers turned black & powdery. There was a hair like odor.
The lining of the coat & pockets has a silky satin feel. I am uncertain if it is silk or a polyester material.
