The book contains all the nobility of Scotland and their descent, marriages, titles, posts, seats with their arms, crests, supporters, mottos, etc.
The volume has been professionally rebound in strong pale brown cloth with leather title labels on spine by Richmond Public Library with their stamp (and discard stamp) verso title page, in late 19th century hand. (Titled on spine Volume III of The British Compendium).
In 496 pages. There is very light shelfwear. The binding and block are solid. There is no foxing. There are no missing, loose, damaged or stained pages. It is complete.
