SHIPPING COSTS

We pack our sets carefully, so the extra size can mean more shipping costs. We may also take out transit warranty insurance to minimise the risks to you. Therefore please don't direct message about whether the postage can be cheaper.

We will only ship to the address on the ebay order, all requests to send to a different address will be ignored.

THE LEGO

It can be the occasional case that even brand new sealed LEGO sets are occasionally missing pieces due to LEGO's own factory production issues (search online to see examples). You agree that if you make any purchases of sets, that if there are missing parts, that you will get them at your cost - for example either via other sellers, or via requesting from Lego’s replacement parts service (which can be free). If this is a concern, do not order the set.

It is often the case that the exterior box of the set may have cosmetic blemishes ("shelf wear"), which do not impact the contents inside in any way (eg scratches or dents). No refunds will be accepted for reasons related to cosmetic blemishes / shelf wear of any nature to the exterior boxes. Again, you should expect some level of cosmetic blemishes / shelf wear. If this is a concern, request photos prior to ordering.

For sealed sets, it is the buyer's responsibility to carefully open the packaging to ensure that seals do not break when unpacking (for example, as a result of the seals inadvertently clinging to the bubble wrap due to static electricity). This is especially applicable to old sealed sets, where the seals may be weaker than on new sets. If this is a concern, do not order the set.

Sets may have store price and similar stickers on them. If this is a concern, request photos prior to ordering.

SHIPPING RISK

Shipping is at BUYER'S risk - no liability on the postal / courier service is taken on our part, whether for loss or damage. Photos will be take prior to shipping to confirm the quality of the set as sent. Whilst sonic_hedgeau may obtain transit insurance, transit insurance will not cover all types of damage or loss - for example transit insurance will not cover if the Lego box becomes damaged / unsealed in transit but the actual Lego contents inside are fine. 

Customs and import duties are the responsibility of the buyer. This includes if customs cuts open the seals of the set for inspection.

Following developments regarding the pandemic, delivery networks have been experiencing delays to a number of destinations. Any delivery dates provided by ebay are not guaranteed, and you should expect delays.

Also due to the pandemic, all deliveries will be on an "authority to leave" basis. Any risks after the goods are left at the delivery address, are at buyer's risk.
