This beautiful vintage portrait by William Otto captures a stunning African woman in gorgeous pinks, greens, blues and violets. The frame measures approximately 6" x 7" and the picture has a tiny signature by the artist that reads "© 87 WM Otto" (see pics). The sticker on the back reads "African Woman, William Otto, Art Treasures Guild." The Art Treasures Guild was a company that operated primarily in the mid-20th century and was known for producing and distributing reproductions of famous artworks and sculptures. The piece almost has a glittery texture to it and is positioned in a striking gold frame. I did not attempt to remove the portrait. There are a few nicks on the frame itself as well as a red stain on the back (see pics) but they don't detract from the beauty of this uniquely intricate piece.
