REGENCY PERIOD SILVER BOWL SHEFFIELD 1817 THOMAS WATSON




Unusual Regency Period silver two handled bowl by Thomas Watson in 1817.  Beaded rim with remnants of gold wash decoration to the interior.
 

Maker mark TW&Co (Thomas Watson); lion silver mark; Sheffield assay office mark; date letter probably X for 1817;  King George III portrait duty mark.  

 

Dimensions: approx 4¾ inches long.

 

Weight: 2 troy oz (62.2g)

 

Light marks to the interior with remnants if gold wash.  Overall excellent condition.
