A Stunning Chinese folding desk elaborately carved with dragons and stylised longevity characters and faux bamboo carved edges.

The desk consists of a top with a central section surrounded by a profusely carved border of Chinese symbols & beautifully detailed Dragons,

This leads down to a frieze, again profusely carved with similar designs to the top and this decoration is also carried round to the sides and back.

The frieze at the front incorporates two drawers with carved wooded handles.

The base section is also profusely carved and pierced with dragons and flowers, this is hinged and could have been folded for easy storage and transport (it has been screwed since so to stand more stable) the screws can be removed if required so that the base can be folded once more.

An unusual useful oriental style table or desk in good solid strong well made condition with age related wear and no signs of woodworm, there is a split to the top as pictured.

very decorative with a nice colour to the hardwood.

Internally the desk is littered with lots of storage both lift and hidden.
