Product Description

SENCTRL offers pressure instrument solutions for critical Process and Industrial/OEM (original equipment manufacturer) applications across the globe. Our extensive industry experience and customer-driven approach allow us to meet and exceed customer and market expectations.

SENCTRL 0-5000 PSI Glycerin Filled High Pressure Gauge

The SENCTRL Y.6 stainless steel case pressure gauge offers exceptional quality, durability, and performance. The inside of the gauge is filled with glycerine which allows to use it under severe conditions accompanied by vibrations and pulsations. An ideal choice for satisfying most applications and installation requirements.

  • 2-1/2" dial size, 1/4"NPT lower mount
  • Pressure Ranges: 0-5000 psi (0-35000 kPa)
  • Brass and stainless steel wetted parts, glycerin filled
  • For pressure measuring of gas, liquid which is not corrosive to brass.

Robust design

Stainless steel case pressure gauge offers exceptional quality, durability, and performance.

Vibration and shock-resistant

Glycerine filled provides superior resistance to shock, vibration and pulsation; extends product life and reduces maintenance costs.

IP67 grade waterproof

Prevent water infiltrating and fogging of the window. Provide a clear reading.

Why Liquid Filled?

  • The liquid filling dampens vibration, mechanical shock, and pressure pulsations, enabling easier pressure readings.
  • The liquid filling eliminates corrosion, moisture penetration and icing due to the ambient atmosphere.
  • The liquid filling lubricates all moving components, dramatically reducing wear of the movement.

How to choose the right scale range?

  • The user must ensure that the appropriate pressure gauge has been selected in terms of scale range and design. The scale range is optimally selected when the operating pressure lies in the middle third of the scale range.

Where are liquid filled pressure gauge used?

Examples include:

  • Pressure washers and sprayers
  • Paint spray equipment
  • Compressors
  • Irrigation equipment
  • Hydraulic systems
  • Hydraulic hand tools

Instructions of a pressure gauge vent plug:

  • For ≤300 psi pressure ranges, gauges require some type of vent valve, compensating membrane, or other mechanism for pressure compensation. Otherwise, changes in ambient temperature such as direct sunlight would distort the measured pressure. (No compensation is necessary in gauges with >300 psi pressure ranges, as the pressure built up inside the case is negligible in relation to the full scale range.)
  • All pressure gauges sealed for the purpose of liquid-filling have a device to assure atmospheric compensation. To correctly vent the solid rubber fill plugs, simply cut off the tip of the plug which will open a small hole through so the gauge can vent. Only for mounting the gauge in a upright position.
