This is such a cool set!!  The box is a vintage Gloria Vanderbilt Vanity Case.  The ornaments are inside the case with a layer of paper towels.  I do not know what the characters are.  These are the type of ornaments I love to put on my tree!!  Completely one of a kind!!!
