for sale here is aan absolutely stunning and possibly even unfished vintage hardy alnwick conquest trotting coarse fishing reel , 4 + 3/8ths" , twin ebonite handles , built by J.R.J. jack johnstone , front drag , 2 screw drum release , virtually mint as can be seen , spins like a dream with jewelled bearing i think , left or right wind , reversible bickerdyke lineguard , an absolute cracker this one and pretty much 99% mint as can be seen , either unused with just a few little spots of age/handling wear or used only 2 or 3 times , best i have ever seen...i think you will struggle to find a better one if im honest...please see my other listings of hardy and other vintage fishing items this week , all items are posted as soon as paid... ref box 1 |
if you buy a reel from me , you can be sure it has been through my workshop , lines removed , fully cleaned and serviced and any worn or damaged parts replaced with new ones , so no loose handles , no chewed up screws , no spool wobble or spindle wear , no bent or filed feet , no worn pawls , no loose rivets or missing parts , good tight springs and always described exactly as i see it , i do all the hard work so you dont have to worry about getting an inferior reel obviously the more vintage reels may have little flaws such as worn screw heads or paint wear or scratches etc but all items will be fully photographed and described correctly , if you are unsure then please contact me.. |
