This is the fifth and last issue in the series "Lithuanian Ethnographic Regions," and features the region of Suvalkija.

The obverse depicts the coat of arms of Suvalkija - a Taurus in a shield, decorated on both sides with silver oak branches with acorns, connected at the bottom by a silver ribbon with the inscription "Unity Shall Shine". The oak branches symbolize the deep history of the region, dating back to the pagan times of the Lithuanian state. The Taurus was once the most widespread animal in this region. The outer ring of the coin features the 12 stars of the EU.

The reverse features the regular reverse of the €2 coin.
