Antique 18th CENTURY VERY LARGE BRASS MEDAL

ST. BENEDICT OF NURSIA / ST. BERNARD OF CLAIRVAUX & OUR LADY OF SORROWS

Antique 18th century brass medal depicting on one side St. Benedict of Nursia and Angel holding the Bookwith inscription "PATER BENEDICTUS".  On the other side Our Lady of 7 Sorrows with 2 swords on Her chest and St. Bernard of Clairvaux carrying the instruments of the Passion of Our Lord and also inscription "S. BERN..."

SIZE: circa 1.57 x 2.09 inch = 40 x 53 mm (w/ hoop) / Weight: 28.97gr
