There is some shelfwear to the corners, and to the outside of the spine. There is no foxing. There is a small neat previous owner's name to the front blank endpaper. There is light pencil underlining to about 60 pages - typically one or two lines - some notes also in light pencil, and six pages where some lines have been underlined in ink. The plates and pages are bright, and fresh. There are no missing, stained, damaged, or loose pages. The spine and binding are solid. It is complete and original.
