This item is a NEW Neck Strap Adjuster ( 22C/8415-99-0006412) for a Royal Air Force MK. 4A / 4B / 4D / 4B/L / 4A-4 Flying Helmet. This strap bolts into the back of the helmet and allows lateral adjustment by means of a string which passes through a hole on the side of the helmet and is secured with a locking bolt and washer on the outside when a snug fit is achieved . These NEW parts are not easy to find and are often overlooked when helmets are serviced. Few Only..
