FROM MADEIRA WITH LOVE....

 

Found in an estate liquidation on the island of Madeira in Portugal, that of world travelers. 

Vintage ceramic jug that is a recreation of a type of vessel found in ancient Rome, specifically in Pompei.

It was hand crafted and retains a paper hang tag that identifies the artist responsible for its production, Antonio Facciolli.

It is a vintage piece, hand painted and finished in a matte Verde coloration.

Stands 8 inches tall and has survived free of chips, cracks or abrasions.

There are no issues with the finish and no missing details.
