Dallmeyer 3D 12 1/2" (320mm) f/6  Petzval Wet Plate BRASS barrel lens. Made in London, circa 1908-10. Serial #76422. Vintage brass Soft-Focus lens. Non-coated glass. This lens will cover 6 1/2 x 8 1/2" whole plate format. (1) one to (3) three notches on the REAR barrel and you can change the SOFTNESS of the image by moving rear lens barrel. Front filter diameter is about 65mm. Rear filter diameter is about 70mm. Lens is 100mm or 4" long without the Hood. Weight is approx  1.3lb. Retaining ring is 3.5" or 90mm in diameter. Requires at least a 4 x 4"" or larger lens board. Lens is in Ex/Ex- or 7.5/8 of 10 cosmetic condition. No dents or dings. Clean front and rear element. Vintage glass has been cleaned best as possible. Brass mounting Ring. Original brass Hood.
