The Pathfinder boot is perfect for touring. Made of durable microfibre, the boot incorporates a high performance waterproof and breathable SympaTex™ membrane. The warmer the membrane, the better it performs, and since it's not microporous, you don't depend on the breathability of the outer fabric to regulate the temperature of the boot. CE approved, the boot features TPU shin protection, combined with integrated malleolus protection. It is equipped with a floating gear selector protection identical to that used on the TracTech boots: the protection does not surround the boot, hence greater comfort when you are on the motorcycle. To further improve the level of comfort, reflective textile inserts are placed on the front and back of the boot. However, the key feature of this boot is how it can be put on and taken off. Zippers and double-sided hook-and-loop panels open to allow the front of the boot to pivot during removal. This leaves a large opening which houses a SympaTex™ membrane inside the boot. Extra-wide hook-and-loop closures allow multiple levels of boot adjustment for different calf sizes. The outsole has been designed specifically for touring: it has deep and resistant indentations perfect for the rider, offering good grip both on the bike and on the road.
