Antiker chinesischer Porzellanteller mit handbemalter Darstellung in Kobaltblau mit Marke der Regierungszeit des Kaisers Wanli (1572-1620) der Ming Dynastie.
Der Durchmesser beträgt 20 cm, die Höhe 2 cm und das Gewicht 351 g. Der Teller befindet sich in einem sehr guten Erhaltungszustand mit nur minimalen Farbabreibungen
Der Teller stammt vermutlich aus dem 19. Jahrhundert und trägt ein Motiv aus der Regierungszeit des Ming Kaisers Wanli (1572-1620) mit einem Ritzdekor als Hintergrund. Die handbemalte Darstellung mit dick aufgetragener Farbe zeigt drei Hofdamen und ein Kind umgeben von Baum-Pfingstrosen. Die Pfingstrose symbolisiert Glück, Treue, ewige Schönheit und Langlebigkeit. Diese vier Elemente wiederholen sich in dieser Reihenfolge von links nach rechts in den vier dargestellten Figuren. Oben in der Mitte ist außerdem einen Schmetterling zu sehen, der ein langes Leben, Freude und Wärme symbolisiert.

The diameter is 20 cm, the height 2 cm and the weight 351 g. The plate is in a very good state of preservation with only minimal colour abrasion
The plate probably dates from the 19th century and bears a motif from the reign of the Ming Emperor Wanli (1572-1620) with an incised decoration as a background. The hand-painted depiction with thickly applied colour shows three court ladies and a child surrounded by tree peonies. The peony symbolises happiness, fidelity, eternal beauty and longevity. These four elements are repeated in this order from left to right in the four figures depicted. A butterfly can also be seen at the top centre, symbolising long life, joy and warmth.
