This is a rare March 12th, 1923 program (playbill) from the two-week, Post-Broadway engagement of the IVAN CARYLL, ANNE CALDWELL and R. H. BURNSIDE musical extravaganza "TIP-TOP" at the Columbia Theatre in San Francisco, California. (The Original Broadway production opened October 5th, 1920 at the Globe Theatre in New York City and closed May 7th, 1921 after 246 performances.) ..... The musical starred FRED A. STONE (originated the role of the "Scarecrow" in the Original Broadway production of "The Wizard of Oz") and featured OSCAR RAGLAND, BURT JORDAN, EUGENE FORD, INEZ FORD, TOMMY BELL, FRED BROWN, BILLY BROWN, HARRY BROWN, VERNE BROWN, ALEX BROWN, JULIE ROCHE, ROY HOYER, TERESA VALERIO, MARIE SEWELL, MARJORIE WHITE, THELMA WHITE, LEITA RANDALL, CHARLES MAST and WILLIAM KERSCHELL ..... CONDITION: With the exception of a moisture ring and handwritten notes on the front cover and moderate edge wear, this rare program is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
