It is a very peculiar medium-sized tree given that its leaves give off, especially in autumn at night, a pleasant smell reminiscent of caramel or cotton candy depending on the specimen, in autumn its leaves also change color from the common green to a spectacular intense red after having gone through other shades ranging from yellow to orange. It is a tree that grows in full sun or partial shade, being fast growing and very resistant to frost sow and when it is a specimen already a couple of years old.

Very easy to propagate and fast growing, it is ideal for decorating streets. Before sowing, leave the seeds in hot water and let them cool with it for 24 hours. Cold stratification is recommended for 3 months, followed by a hot stratification for 3 months as well. Then sow in a sheltered and warm place, it takes a few weeks to months to germinate
