This a simple toy with bright colors, especially suitable, I think, for a child who is just learning to walk independently and before more complicated kinds of play are learned. One of my daughters more than 30 years ago. This particular BRIO toy seems to have long since ceased being in production, which makes this an unusual find.

The only moving parts are the bright red and yellow wheels, which are responsible for the large red egg somersaulting on the bed of the green carriage. It takes less than 6" of pulling activity for the egg to make each revolution. The pull cord is short enough for the child and not long enough to get tangled up in. The paint is an intentionally non-toxic choice. Furthermore, there are no sharp edges nor small piece choking hazards.

The toy weighs 8 1/2 ounces. It is 5 1/2" long, almost 2 1/2" wide and about 3 1/2" tall including the egg.

This BRIO egg and cart toy is waiting for another child to enjoy it.
