This is a rare April 2nd, 1928 program (playbill) from the Post-Broadway engagement of the JEROME KERN, OTTO HARBACH and ANNE CALDWELL musical comedy "CRISS CROSS" at the National Theatre in Washington, D.C. (The Original Broadway production opened October 12th, 1926 at the Globe Theatre in New York City and ran for 210 performances before going on the road.) ..... The musical starred FRED STONE (who created the role of the "Scarecrow" in the Original Broadway production of The Wizard of Oz) and featured his daughter, DOROTHY STONE.
