This copy also has the lightest cover-showing to be the very 1st
!WITH THE RARE GREEN SPINE TOO!

Released in October 1969, this Lp was the follow up to the hugely succesfull Zeppelin I... & what an album...Being the groups very first album to reach No. 1 in both the UK and the USA.
The album production was entirely credited to Jimmy Page.
(as a little note: In November of 1999 the album was certified 12X platinum!!)

I have just given here a gentle vacuum clean and then popped her onto my deck, to listen to-all the way through..
Being one of my favourite albums of all time-it really wasn't a chore to listen to her through at HIGH volume!!
She has been to a few parties, providing many marks to the vinyl which produce some occasional background noise-I heard them right at the start of the first track of side 1, but once the bass kicks in, they just fade into the background. However it is more evident in the quieter sections, eg 'Thank You.'
Have a listen to the clip provided and you will see the background crackle isn't offensive at all...I recorded the most instrumental track on the album: Thank You...As you can hear; the light and occasional background crackle n pop isn't bad at all..I think it adds a warmth to the listening as it isn't a digital file-with the peaks and troughs (lost in digital) are still clearly defined.
WOW-Superb drums kicking in at the start-magical! And Ooooh, the escalation of the bass line on Ramble On is a joy to listen too..
NO SKIPS OR STICKS ON MY FOCUS ONE DECK.
!!!!AS ZEPPELIN WANTED YOU TO HEAR THEM-with some original pops and crackle ;)!!!!

The Cover:

It is the rarest cover-with the GREEN SPINE! These are believed to have only been produced in a small batch of around 1000.
 Original 1st printing LIGHT 'CHOCOLATE' coloured GATEFOLD cover with some  wear to her-Please see the pictures provided...Rubbing to the edges.
States "Lemon Song"as well as "Livin' Lovin' MAID" on the sleeve track listing.
These covers are notorious for light ring wear and this is no different...More evident to the back gatefold. With some corrugation to the panels, but nothing to worry about. There is a 9cm split to the seem to the top of the back panel.
