RARE find. This is for the (one) in YELLOW PANTS. Great for framing. I had a top like this in the 1960's.  These are exciting! This is for one 20" x 13" great original fashion drawings on watercolor paper, from I believe from 1940's to 1950's. Think of the ones that were on the of wall at the "Met Gala" this year when they honored Carl Lagerfeld. I know they look like 1960's, but it seems they were made in the 1950's, because it takes a while for some fashion to make it to creation. Marcel Christen it seems was maybe ahead of his time. With the drawings it also came with a copy of the patent application for 1942 for a fabric he invented. He summitted a number of applications, (that I found online), between the years 1937 to 1943. When he did fabric designs for the likes of "Yale Fabric Corp New York" and "Cohn-Hall-Marx Co. Inc", UM&M, at one time was one of the biggest companies in the garment industry. He lived in the Garment district, but then it's like he dies or? I cannot find much more on him. I have to wonder why? Because his drawings are all very similar to a stylish hippie or "Laugh-In" style. He was very talented. I actually saw similar fashions in Dillard's recently.   I am selling these 5 separately with the patent article copy. These were found at home estate sale in Florida a seamstress.  They are all signed Marcel on the back in pencil. Super-size to see well and e-questions. Also note that the hair is slightly different in each, so original each time, maybe it was a favorite girl or daughter. Mailed flat.
