Galvanised steel bin for storage of pretty much anything, but we used it for storing grain and chicken feed. It also made a great place for storing sacks of potatoes as it always stayed cold.

It's at least 50 years old, so is made of good thick steel, so has decades of life left in it. As can be seen in the photos the galvanising has gone in a couple of places, but the rust is surface only. With a coat of red oxide or Hammerite paint it would it would last forever.

The hinged lid opens all the way no problem. The lid closes down leaving only a very small gap; it's not air-tight but it is rat-proof.

It's approximately 1 metre in all dimensions, probably weighs 40 kg (one person can move it, but it's awkward).

Comes complete with a padlock which unfortunately we don't have the key for.

Serious bidders only please.
