The first item in this listing is a length of vintage cotton trim from Wright's. Trim is still in its original plastic wrap; it was sold by the yard. The floral design is embroidered in pink, yellow, and olive green against a white background; there's a delicate pink scallop edging along each side. Nice woven texture on each side of the flowers.
This trim piece measures 112" long x 1 5/8" wide. It is clean and smoke-free.
A second item item in this listing is a pin which might as well be named "Raining Cats and Dogs". It features a dark grey/silvertone (maybe pewter?) 'umbrella' from which hang 5 little goldtone smiling faces -- of 2 cats and 3 dogs. There is a bit of 'heft' to this piece. It is marked on the back: Ultra Craft. This pin is 2" long x 2 1/2" wide. The pin is pre-owned; it is in very good condition. It is clean and smoke-free.
Also included in this listing is a "Golden Hands Index" guide book. This valuable index lists many hundreds of sewing and needlework topics to explore among the volumes in the collection. Softcover book, pub. 1971 by Marshall Cavendish Ltd., unpaginated (but I count 20). Copy is in used condition. It is smoke-free and the pages are tightly stapled together. The cover shows some rubs and light creases; the cover has small rips at both top and bottom of folded spine. Interior pages show light yellowing (mostly around the edges) from age. I note one page has some numerical notations written by a former owner.
The final item included in this listing is a counted thread cross stitch kit from Artiste/Zweigart. It is dated 2015 and is from the Kooler Design Studio. This is kit #1576743, titled "Blooming Chair". Delightful project here! Finished size 8 1/8" x 10 1/8". Kit contains white 14-ct. Aida fabric, floss, needle, pattern, and instructions. Kit is in its original plastic packaging. The original seal is intact and has been supplemented with a bit of scotch tape. Kit is clean, complete, unstitched, and smoke-free.
