This is a rare December 26th, 1909 program (playbill) from the West Coast engagement of the DAVID BELASCO play with music "THE GIRL OF THE GOLDEN WEST" at Morosco's Burbank Theatre in Los Angeles, California. (The Original Broadway production opened November 14th, 1905 at New York's Belasco Theatre and closed June 19th, 1906 after 224 performances.) ..... The musical starred FRANCES NORDSTROM as "The Girl" and featured A. BYRON BEASLEY, DAVID LANDAU, DAVID M. HARTFORD, JOHN W. CONDITION: (Please Note!) There is a tiny puncture in the top left corner, a small tear in the outside edge, light soiling to the back cover and moderate edge wear. Despite these flaws, this rare program will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian. This item will be carefully packaged in a protective, carded sleeve and backed by stiff cardboard.
