Made circa 1898-1910, this vase is decorated with raised hand painted enamel flowers in hues of pink with green and gray stems.  It appears to be in excellent condition for its age with no chips or cracks.

Opal Ware Glass was popular from 1890 to 1910 and much of the "wave crest" was produced by the Mt. Washington Glass Company.  It was then purchased by the C. F. Monroe Co.  The pieces were purchased with no decoration and then hand-painted at that company.  Pieces with Wave Crest Stamp were produced after 1898 - no stamp is indicative of pre 1898.
