One vintage dress from Monsoon. Once black (now charcoal) needle cord collar and cuffs. Main body is checked dark green black and burgundy. Two side pockets. UK 12 seen here on s size 10 model. Cord covered buttons down to the hem. .There are two waist fasteners that need replacing (as shown) and the interfacing (?) that runs on the interior seams where the button and button hole meet, has all but disintegrated as shown in last couple of photos. This can’t be seen from the outside but is visible inside out! The fabric throughout is lightweight( viscose) and has seen lots of wear and washes. That said it’s a great dress that’s reminiscent of Dark Academia/ Toast/Margaret Howell aesthetic etc.

The size label varies from company to company so the measurements I’ve written will give you more of an idea of size rather than just going by the size seen on the label. In addition to this, pre worn clothes can often be shrunken or overstretched, so reading measurements and comparing to the measurements of an item that you own (that fits you) will be of use when deciding to buy item.

When photographing women’s clothes the mannequin I use is approximately a UK size 10 (or small).

I try to be as honest as I can when describing and photographing items, so if there is something that is mistakenly missed I'm more than willing to sort out any issues.

Colours vary from screen to screen so it may or may not be the same so please take this into account before buying.

Knitted clothing has an amount of stretch so please allow for some minor discrepancies in the measurements within the range of 4cm or so. All knitwear sold is newly laundered and stored separately.

Due to age, vintage items can often ( not always) be marked, faded, discoloured, scratched, scuffed etc. so please expect imperfections. The photos will tell a story where the words haven't so please study images carefully.
