Rare original memorial service programme for All Gas and Gaiters and Oh Brother/Oh Father star Derek Nimmo.

Derek Nimmo died aged 68 on 24th February 1999 and his memorial service was held at The Actors Church, St Paul's on Thursday 27th May 1999.

Lots of the great and the good in attendance for this popular comedy actor who appeared with many stars over the years. Making speeches were Gerald Harper, star of Hadleigh and Adam Adamant Lives!, Geoffrey Palmer from Butterflies and much else, Maureen Lipman singing a Joyce Grenfell song, a Noel Coward reading from Donald Sinden, and an address from Nimmo's Just A Minute co-star Clement Freud. Also Nimmo's young grandchildren.

Fascinating stuff, the original owner also kept some news clippings inside from the Daily Telegraph and The Times which are included.

You don't see many of these actual service programmes come up and they're an interesting addition to any collection of comedy memorabilia with sone fascinating insights into events of the funeral services.
