Mickey is all dressed up to celebrate Disney's 100th anniversary with this collectible plush toy from the world renowned Steiff.  Given that it was Walt Disney himself who chose Steiff to make one of the world's first commercially licensed versions of Mickey Mouse toys back in 1931, it's fitting they would create this special edition plush. Resplendent in a holographic foil dot jacket and matching shoes, complemented by a white shirt and black satin bow tie, Mickey shows why his appeal is timeless.

Steiff is a German-based plush toy company founded in 1880 by Margarete Steiff.  The company claims to have made the world's first factory-made stuffed Teddy Bear.  The iconic "button in ear" tag was devised in 1904 by Margarete's nephew Franz to keep counterfeits from being passed off as authentic Steiff toys. It is made of metal. The button is still used to distinguish authentic Steiff toys from fakes.

Brand New, Never Used, with Tags Attached. Mickey has never been removed from his original sealed Box. The original box will be carefully wrapped in bubblewrap & packing tissue paper and then placed in another sturdy cardboard box to ensure your item arrives in tip top condition!!
