USTAR NO-007 1/48 T-90A MAIN BATTLE TANK MODEL KIT

- The T-90 is a third generation main battle tank developed by the Soviet Union/Russia and entered service in 1992.

- In the mid-1980s, the Soviet military operated a high-low mix of the high-performance, high-cost T-80 and the low-performance but low-cost T-72, but instead operated two MBT systems. Since it is inefficient to continue to do so, the idea of integrating with an improved version of the T-72 emerged.

- In 1986, based on the T-72B, two types of large-scale improved [Object 187] and simple improved [Object 188] were
developed in parallel, and finally the low manufacturing cost was evaluated. Object 188 was adopted as T 90.

-The T-90A is equipped with a newly designed [Vladimir] turret developed for the Object 187, the main gun is a 55 caliber 125mm smoothbore gun 2A46M-5, and the engine is a V-92S2 engine. It is a vehicle with improved defense, attack power, and mobility.
