This two-channel equalizer provides a 10 dB boost/cut of the center frequency (25 Hz to 25 kHz) on two channels of 30 points in 1/3-octave increments according to ISO, boosted/cut by a 45 mm slider.
A shelving-type filter, which trims the high frequencies, provides a continuously variable 8 dB boost/cut between 2 kHz and 20 kHz, controlled by the volume.
The equalizer also has a 12 dB/octave per channel high pass filter variable between 10 Hz and 150 Hz and a fixed 18 dB/octave low pass filter for HF driver protection.
In addition, there is a gain controller with ±10 dB of gain adjustment per channel.
There is also a peak indicator that illuminates when the input signal is above 20 dB.
Both XLR and KLIPPON quick-wire multi-connectors are provided as standard.
A bypass relay is provided to activate if the power supply is interrupted for any reason.
However, if you are going to use this equipment for home use, please do not use this kind of connection. If this equipment is to be used at home, however, please do not use it in this way, but connect it to the accessory circuit of a preamplifier or pre-main (few devices have terminals for connection) or tape monitor circuit, and use it as a source (EQ cancel) and play (EQ IN) on the amplifier. In addition, when the volume is reduced, the noise from the equipment up to that point is also reduced at the same time as the signal, so this is the correct connection.
If this connection is made between the preamplifier and the mains, even if the volume is set to zero in the preamplifier, if there is noise coming from the EQ, the power amp will amplify only the noise, so residual noise will be generated from the SP, and the volume will be low, as well as residual noise from the mains.
If the volume is low, the residual noise is also noticeable.
and if you turn up the volume, the EQ amp clips.
