HERE IS AN ABSOLUTELY AWESOME FIND! Here is a real deal (1970s or early 80s I believe) VINTAGE Arthur Fulmer AF40? "WINGS" Motorcycle/Snowmobile helmet in approx size large-xl. This one measures approx 25" from the left lower ear side, over the top, to the bottom lower right ear side. Measures approx 19 1/2" from the top of the forehead, over the helmet to the bottom back of the helmet. (its a little hard to measure) I wear a size large. I popped it on my head and it fits me. Inside chin strap says 7 5/8-7 3/4 x-large 3-80. SURE to compare before you bid to be sure this will work for you.
This is one of the TOP of the line old school helmets from the 1970s! I have owned over 100 vintage helmets and this is one of the ONLY Arthur Fulmer of this style I have found! I like the red with the gold wings on the side! It looks really cool and these don't come along often!
The chin strap is in place and the trademark chrome strip around the front is in place! I believe these are made in MIAMI, FLORIDA USA. THE INSIDE IS THE NICEST I HAVE EVER SEEN IN A HELMET LIKE THIS! (see pics) It does have outer scratches and scuffs. (see pics) It will look even better with a basic detailing. INCLUDES the flip down shield as a FREE BONUS! (has scratches) It is not flawless or new but is an extremely cool item.
