This is “Vietnam: A Television History: Volume One -- Roots of a War / The First Vietnam War (1946-1954),” a previously-owned video-cassette-tape (VHS) issued by WGBH in 1989. It plays perfectly, runs approximately 55 minutes, and comes in the original slipcase.
These initial first two episodes deal with the history of Vietnam up to 1954. The tape is part of a thirteen part documentary mini-series that chronicles three decades of struggle in Vietnam, providing a detailed visual and oral account of the war. It includes:
