Vintage Mid-Century c1960’s "Smiths" Art Deco Oak Desk / Mantel Clock.
This is a vintage mid-century c1960’s "Smiths" Art Deco desk / mantel clock.
This is in excellent condition and is in full working order. It has a
beautiful Art Deco style oak body with decorative black wood and brass plinth. The
oak has a medium brown coloured finish with a darker visible grain
and a soft subtle shine. The face is circular in shape with an off white/cream coloured metal chapter ring, gold coloured numerals and silver coloured hands. The face is protected by a convex glass window with a brass bezel. The glass is in excellent condition with no
scratches, chips or cracks. To the rear of the clock there is access to the
replacement battery operated quartz mechanism (requires one size "AA"
battery).
