This is a "fit for a king: the art of cooking" cookbook compiled by The Women's Committee of The Walters Art Gallery from "Art of Cooking" events held between 1964 and 1976. Each event has a red title page divider and the recipes are all indexed at the end of the cookbook. The book features recipes by James Beard, Muriel Downes, Malvina Kinard, Michael Field, Helen McCully, Jacques Pepin, Julie Dannenbaum and Susan Holland. 

The cover of the book has kitchen stains and general wear, but the inside of the book is clean with no writing. The book has a plastic comb binding and measures approximately 8.75 inches high by 6.5 inches wide and contains 186 pages plus the index.
