Lrg Vintage Anchor Hocking 5” Marigold Carnival Glass Pig Piggy Coin Bank, 1950. STOP! This little piggy loves coins, but you don’t have to break the bank to get them out. No, this little piggy doesn’t have a stopper, they weren’t made that way, but all you have to do is use the end of a butter knife to retrieve whatever coins you fed him. Moving the blade of the butter knife back and forth moves the coins and they’ll fall back out of the coin slot. It might be faster to break the bank, but why do such a drastic thing to such a beautiful piece? Beginning in the 1950s, Anchor Hocking produced a selection of glass piggy banks during a time for frugal savings, so keep this one and continue to pass it down through the generations. Measuring approximately 5” tall, 7” long, and 4.5” wide, this loveable piggy is in Great Vintage condition. There is one small flaw on his cheek, but I can’t determine if it’s a chip or not. Preloved. Please see photos.

DisclaimerMany of the items I sell are vintage, antique or used, and may not be in perfect condition.  They may have age-related wear, imperfections or a minor chip here and there.  You may also see air bubbles in crystal items, which are naturally occurring.  I will point out any and all of these to the best of my ability.  Please review the photos provided carefully, read the description, and judge accordingly. All items are insured for the purchase price in case of damage due to shipping, so please do not throw away any of the original packing materials, the shipping box, or the broken item as these will have to be returned to Memory Lane Treasure in order to file an insurance claim for reimbursement of the item. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and reimbursement to the Buyer will not take place until the Seller has received all of the above. Please feel free to contact me with any and all questions you may have before purchasing an item—I am happy to assist.  Thank you for visiting Memory Lane Treasure!

Shipping and Handling: The misnomer regarding Shipping is that the amount charged only covers what it costs to ship an item by its weight. Shipping covers more than just the weight of an item, it also includes logistics costs such as packing supplies, inventory storage, transportation, and delivery. Due to the rising costs in our economy, Memory Lane Treasure has had to start charging for shipping; however, to keep the total cost as low as possible for our customers, Memory Lane Treasure has not yet started to charge a Handling fee, which is the cost of labor. Also note, that depending on the destination of the purchased item, eBay may calculate a different Shipping from what was listed by Memory Lane Treasure. Should that occur, it is not something done by our facility and Memory Lane Treasure should not be held responsible. 100% Customer Satisfaction is Memory Lane Treasure’s ultimate standard. Should a customer have any questions or concerns, they are always encouraged to contact Memory Lane Treasure before purchasing an item—I am happy to assist.
