Such a stunning dress!

Very lightweight, breezy cotton fabric with the most delicate blue embroidery. Reminds me a bit of  those gorgeous antique blue and white china plates. The smocking at the waist is stretchy and there are hidden snaps on the side.

True early 1930's dress!

Measurements in inches:

Bust up to 40", best for less.

Waist 28-31"

Hips free

Length 49 from shoulder to hem

8.5" of hem

Fits like a modern size M.

Condition:

- Has a light floral scent to the fabric.

- Right sleeve is slightly more of a light tan than bright white.

- snaps were moved by owner to make the waist smaller

- one pin dot hole on the front right

- some scattered pin dot holes on sleeves, but couldn't get them to photograph.

- ghost stitching line on back. See photos for location.

The fabric is very strong, and the waist smocking is still quite stretchy. Shockingly good condition considering it's nearly 100 years old!  100% wearable. :)
