This is a plush doll of César Chávez.  It measures 10" tall and holds a sign that says "Viva la huelga! Viva la causa!.

The sign is attached to his shirt, which means it's pulled in a weird way.  You could snip that tie to prevent the sign from pulling on the shirt.
