1995 Mazda Bongo Auto Day Van / Camper

This is a 1995 Mazda Bongo Auto Dayvan. Imported to the UK in 2007. It has a 2.5 litre diesel engine with an Automatic gearbox. The Bongo has covered 146,247 miles. It had a new timing belt and water pump in 2021 at 131k.

The Bongo is finished in grey and has been painted with coach paint. It looks tidy apart from some minor rust appearing on the rear arches as shown in the photos. It has 18” alloy wheels that are in in pretty good condition and all the tyres have plenty of tread.

It is a 6 seater day with a motorised pop top. There are two seats in the front, two in the middle and two in the rear. The middle seats will fold flat to joint the rear seats and make a bed. All the seats are light grey cloth and are all in great condition. The whole interior is in good condtion.

The rear seats can also be folded up to give a boot space.

The pop top is motorised so goes up and down at the touch of a button and gives room for sleeping or just headspace during the day.

Great universal Dayvan. Drives superb. It has some service history including a receipt for the timing belt, a recent new steering rack and full exhaust system. It also has an aftermarket Coolant sensor to warn if the coolant is low as the Bongos are known for using a little water.

There was a solar panel on the roof but this has been removed. The wiring is still in. Needs a little TLC here and there.

The last service was at 135k. It is MOT’d until May 15^th 2024 and has had no advisories for the last few years on the MOT history,

The Bongo comes with a User guide (English), The original Japanese manual, some receipts and bills, V5, MOT and 2 keys.
