Functions:

  • A timing belt is a rubber belt that controls the timing of internal combustion engines and performs a vital function by ensuring that the crankshaft (which controls the pistons) and the camshaft (which controls the valves) rotate in sync.
  • Head gaskets withstand high and low temperatures to seal the combustion gases within the cylinders and to avoid coolant or engine oil leaking into the cylinders.
