Mateki Flute Ballard, all silver, C-tube.

This is a Mateki flute made of all silver.

It is a model called "Ballard", made of 925 all silver, C pipe (drone). (Serial number: 162X).

It has a ring key, half offset, E-mechanism, and "maple" type head tube.

I bought it used last March, and when I had it checked at a music store in Tokyo, I was told that it was time to partially replace the tampo, but that it was not in need of adjustment or repair in its current condition. The instrument has been used as a sub machine since then and has not been used very often.

There are no major scratches or dents, but there are polishing and scuff marks throughout. The case is also deteriorated, but I believe it is a valuable one with Mateki's engraving on it.

Repairs and other maintenance should be done by yourself.
