1983 Press Photo A Milwaukee Boy Scout Undergoes a Test of Adaptiveness
This is an original press photo. NOT SO EASY - Eddie Fink's fingers were taped and Bob Ryan Junior blindfolded his so the boy could feel what it was like to have multiple handicaps. They are members of Boy Scout Troop 317, an independent troop of scouts who are deaf, attending a clinic at the Curative Rehabilitation Center to help scouts earn a new Handicapped Awareness merit badge. To earn the badge, scouts must pass six tests involving the simulated loss of sight, hearing, arms, and legs.Photo measures 9.5 x 9inches. Photo is dated 04-14-1983.
