FROM MADEIRA WITH LOVE....!

 

Found in an estate liquidation on the island of Madeira in Portugal, that of a family with ties to the UK.

Vintage Kilt Pin, signed by the maker "Miracle".

Cast in pewter, set with mixed natural Agate stones, finished with a bezel set faux Amethyst.

Meant to simulate a Sgian Dubh. (A small single edged knife worn with traditional Highland dress). 

Made in Scotland, it measures 3 inches in length and has survived previous ownership free of breaks, losses or missing elements.  

I have inserted a standard size playing card in the photos as a reference for size.
