Dub Jett 40 AAC Pylon Racing Engine Vintage!

One hot Jett from Texas!

A vintage pylon racing engine featuring a strong 1-piece crankcase, with front induction side exhaust configuration, schnuerle ported AAC PSA (aluminium piston in true hard chrome plated aluminium sleeve), large bore steel crankshaft with dual high speed bearings, large bore intake venturi & the Jett remote needle valve, for easier access and safer tuning adjustment.

This engine is ideal for use in pylon or sports scale RC or CL speed model, e.g. Nemesis, Sundowner, Cosmic Wind, Pole Cat & similar.  These Dub Jett's are amongst the strongest running 40 size engines and reputed to turn a 10x6" prop about 2,000rpm more than a Rossi 40.

Condition wise, this engine is in excellent condition, save for a few usage marks & fuel oil deposits.  This engine turns over smoothly with strong compression, with tight pinch towards the top of the stroke.  The patina & burnish reflect its age.  Please see photos.  Sorry no box & instructions.

International bidders are welcome!  Shipping worldwide at cost with tracking number.

The Dub Jett 40 AAC; perfect for the RC sports & speed flyer!

About the new "ebay payments" interface just introduced by ebay & its effect on dispatch time
We all got used to ebay purchases with PayPal payments, that cleared immediately, resulting in fast dispatch.  Ebay have now introduced "ebay payments".  Ebay are saying "The payout will generally be initiated within 2 business days from the order confirmation. Once initiated it typically takes up to 4 business days for the funds to clear in your account and become available to you".  Thusly, this new "ebay payments" interface could add up to 6 working days to dispatch time compared to the aforementioned PayPal payments.  I imagine somebody somewhere will get a bonus for this.  This new payments thingy forced upon us (you can't opt-out of it) has therefore added 5 working days to my dispatch time.  Please bear this in mind before placing your bid.

Please note the item is for sale by a private individual & in accordance with section 2.18 of the DTI (Department of Trade & Industry) OFT (Office of Fair Trading) Distance Selling Guide Sept 2006, the guidance for UK implementation of the EU consumer DSR (Distance Selling Regulations), so this item is NOT subject to return nor refund.
