Guide to The Jenolan Caves, New South Wales

An excellent collection of very early photographs of Jenolan Caves and surrounds. Some of the plates are by the famous 19th/early 20th century photographer Charles Kerry and others by Oliver Trickett and Harry Phillips.

There are 68 black and white plates, one black and white full-page map, and one double page colour map. Rare that any of the maps have not been removed.

    In oblong format light blue papered hardcover with titles in dark blue to the cover, in 86 pages plus two pages of advertisements. There is shelfwear and rubbing/marks to the covers. There is no sunning. There is clear archival tape to the front inside hinge for reinforcement as its quite heavy. There is the odd spot of foxing but very little. There are no previous owners' names or inscriptions. All plates are bright and fresh. There are no missing, loose, creased, stained, or damaged pages. The binding and block are solid. It is complete and original.
